The Ugliness Continues...
Topic: The Amazing Race
Ok, let's talk about some extreme ugliness from tonight's episode.

First, I can't believe Kelly said that Ron was trying to escape the army by being a POW! Kelly, I know it is really hard being a beauty queen, and that you would give that up in a heartbeat to be held prisoner in a foreign country...ok, maybe not! Ron, let Kelly go home and play with her makeup. Move on and see the world!

Did I say that I was starting to like Rob? Damn Rob, as soon as I want to say you are a good racer...your ugliness comes out. Who are you calling stupid? You still think you are on survivor. NEWS FLASH...you don't need to be mean to win The Amazing Race! What does he have to gain by that? Ron and Kelly cannot vote Uchenna/Joyce off just because you think they are stupid! Hey Rob - Uchenna and Joyce outsmarted you. Does that make you more stupid than stupid? (Sorry Romber fans, it needed to be said)

I LOVED the little travolocity gnome! Why didn't they have anything that cool on our race? Did anyone else fall off their chair laughing when Gretch was carrying around her little guy like a baby? Oh well, at least she wasn't trying to ride it!

I have a question about the detour. Could I have chosen Kilo and added my dad's weight? If so, we would have been all over that! ;) "Daddy, just step on the scale...." "Ok, we're done!" (Gus and Hera - Team #1)

I thought it was so cute when Uchenna was coaching himself through the roadblock. (It reminded me of when I climbed the stairs of the ski jump and I was trying to talk myself out of passing out.) Is anyone else a little bitter that this is the SECOND time Uchenna/Joyce have not won a prize for being first?

Gretch, congrads on being the oldest to make it as far as you have...but please, STOP screeeeching!!! Just do it and shut the hell up about it! Meredith may be named after a girl, but he should have climbed the building. Oh, and just got the record...my grandma MJ would have ROCKED on that ladder and she is 66 too!

I had so much fun in this episode spotting the gnome! Did ya'll see Ron carrying it on top of his backpack? When Amber said, "hey" back to Kelly I had an unfortunate flashback to middle school! I was soooooo glad that Romber didn't have a plane on their knome. Wow, for the first time someone won money after stepping on the mat last. Can you all imagine Phil saying, "Gus and Hera...I am sorry to tell you that you are the last team to arrive; however, since you spared the American people from seeing Gus in a speedo - we have decided to give you a 20,000 prize! Oh well, a girl can dream.

By the way, this was totally the race we should have been on. First, the great boating advantages and now the BUS! I drove a school bus for a bit, that would have been grrrrreat.

Hmmm. How about if Uchenna and Joyce got the prize? For this ep, Ron and Kelly ought to be the luckiest racers (for the prize which came along with them being saved from elimination) and Meredith and Gretchen this time came a close second.

But yeah right, Rob annoyed the hell out of me...for the "They're stupid" remark (maybe directed towards U/J and M/G). That's the Robfather trademark though...

Hey there, Hera. First i gotta say, I loved you two in TAR6!!

Oh and I hate Rob too.... I want either Uchenna and Joyce to win or Meredith and Gretchen. But they get lost a lot, don't they?

Hi Hera, I just came across this blog. I know it's been said before, but you and your father were an awesome team in TAR6. I loved watching you guys race together, and I always appreciate the sensitive, thoughtful comments your dad made in Africa and Germany (especially compared to Krabby Kendra?!!)

And Kelly's gotten on my nerves constantly almost since episode 1. Free Ron!

Yeah, I was kind of upset that U/J didn't win a prize for the second time (grr!). But I'll try and look at it as R/K getting a belated prize for winning the leg ending at the salt pans when they also came home empty-handed. Although being forced to spend 12 hours together in a nice hotel may be more punishment than reward, and I hope to God they aren't required to use that Travelocity credit together.
